The Find Your Dog service starts with an initial virtual consultation to gather all of the information needed to find you the best-fit breed and the best-fit personality dog, and in the most ideal timeline for you. We will discuss your home and work life, your preferred ways to exercise a dog, your non-negotiables, and what your ideal personality is in a dog.
After I have all of this information, we will move to an hourly fee rate for my research into breed personalities, vetting breeder websites, phone calls with breeders, and additional email and phone time with you to check in and update you. Typically, this entire process takes 3-5 months and 10-15 hours at my hourly rate. This service does require a credit card on file and you will be notified before you are billed.
If you live in San Diego County, you are eligible for the Find Your Dog service. After I have all of this information, we will move to an hourly fee rate for my research into vetting rescues and shelters and private owners, daily checking in on newly listed dogs that fit your criteria, additional email and phone time with you, and any in-person visits we do (together or separately) to meet dogs together. Typically, this entire process takes 1 week-2 months and 5-10 hours at my hourly rate. This service does require a credit card on file and you will be notified before you are billed.
Packages
3 Sessions
Laser focus
This package includes three 60-minute training sessions and allows time for 1-2 behaviors to focus on in a short amount of time. This is best if you are on a tight budget or have a single goal in mind.
6 Sessions
Complex behaviors
This package includes six 60 minute training sessions and allows for more time to work on complex behaviors or 2-3 big goals that may need more time to create new responses. This is best for those who can take the extended time to work through complex emotions.
Pay-As-You-Go
Specific Needs
Though I don’t typically recommend them, for some situations and behaviors, Pay-As-You-Go Sessions may be the right answer. This means that you pay for each session at the end of the 60 minutes and you only schedule out 1 session at a time.
Any package can be modified for your situation. Please do not hesitate to ask. I will always modify any plan to best serve you and your dog if it is needed.
